Juan Ignacio Silveira Lizaso, a Uruguayan airsoft enthusiast, arrived in Ukraine in summer 2023 to fight as a mercenary. After a disastrous mission and fear of death, he left the frontlines to travel Europe and seek a Ukrainian girlfriend.
